Churdhar Trek
“We planned a weekend trip to Churdhar Temple – the mountains had other plans.
Heavy snowfall the night before turned the 7–8 km trail into an icy challenge nobody expected. But we started anyway- loud, enthusiastic, and maybe slightly underprepared.
Some reached the summit. Others stopped midway – and honestly, the views from up there were already worth every step. We sat in the snow, shared Siddu, and took it all in.
The descent? Sliding through snow, pulling each other up, laughing the whole way down.
We returned to our beautiful homestay that night – exhausted, frozen, and completely full of memories.
Kheer Ganga Trek
Kheerganga was never really the plan.
We set out for a weekend in Manikaran and Manali — but somewhere along the way, a ‘small hike’ to Kheerganga made it onto the itinerary. Just a quick detour, we thought. We’d be back by morning.
14 km of trail through the Parvati Valley had other ideas.
The aggressive roar of the Parvati River against steep mountain walls, dense forests, and views that kept getting better with every turn — none of us were in a hurry anymore. And when the trail finally opened up into the wide, peaceful meadows of Kheerganga, Manali quietly got cancelled.
This is the place where legend says Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati once dwelled — the origin point of the untouched Pin Valley. You feel that stillness when you’re there.
We spent an extra day just being — exploring the meadows, soaking in the hot springs, and doing very little on purpose.
We came back without the Manali trip. We came back with something better.”
Yulla Kanda
Yulla Kanda in Kinnaur is home to one of the world’s highest Lord Krishna temples – and a trek that lived up to every bit of that reputation.
Starting from Chandigarh on a Friday night, we reached Yulla village by morning and began the ascent through steep trails, dense forests, and cascading waterfalls. The terrain was challenging – and the rain made sure we took every step.
At the top, beside a serene mountain lake, sat the temple. Standing there – fog all around, mountains stretching endlessly – was one of those moments that’s hard to describe and impossible to forget.
An overnight stay, a bonfire, good company, and a descent we navigated together.
We returned to Chandigarh with something more than just photographs – a shared experience of adventure, perseverance, and the quiet magic of Kinnaur.”

advisors, to our India office. His visit provided an opportunity for employees across
teams to interact with him, exchange ideas, and gain a deeper understanding of the
evolving intellectual property landscape.
Drawing from his extensive experience, Mr. Upadhye shared stories from his
