Jim Carson is a Consultant and Patent Agent at RB Consulting. He started RB Consulting, Inc., in 2011 with a vision to help startup companies and small businesses with their patent strategy. Jim has worked with clients across diverse businesses including art companies, software corporations, and medical and food companies.
Jim graduated as an Electrical Engineer and further pursued an MBA in Finance and Statistics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He has a rich and diverse experience in Product Management, Manufacturing, Finance, Patents, and Intellectual Property. His key skills include Product Development, Strategic Planning, Business Development, Process Improvement, and Team Building.
A fighter at heart, who never gives up, Jim is passionate about common sense. By common sense, Jim means that a simple plan supported by specific actions, informative communications, and affordable implementations, provides the straightest path toward achieving a client’s goals. On a personal note, Jim is very easy and a lot of fun to work with.
